Nancy Bean is running to represent House District 93 and to fight for the hard-working families of Texas. She is running to fight for real family values that value real families like yours.

The granddaughter of Texas dust bowl farmers and the daughter of a minister and teacher, Nancy was raised to love her neighbor as herself. By the time she was 12 years old, she knew that Good Government is how we turn loving our neighbors into action.

"Vote Nancy Bean for Texas House Representative District 93 on November 6, 2018."

Nancy is running because the policies of Austin and DC increasingly crush real families to line the gold pockets of Billionaire CEOs. Increasingly cruel policies divide families, destroy schools, slash healthcare services, and rob workers of their hard-earned wages. She is running because now more than ever we must embrace the mission of building a civil society where ordinary folk act to govern themselves; where ordinary folk act to recruit and elect men and women of honor to serve the common good of our communities.

Fighting For ALL Our Families

Nancy has worked as a public educator for 24 years, first as a classroom teacher and now as a counselor for children with special needs. She has spent a lifetime preparing for this fight: earning degrees in Human Development and Family Relations, Divinity, and Counseling; working in churches, community organizations, and schools; and organizing with children and families of incarcerated neighbors.

Nancy, alongside Dr. Alan Bean, her husband of 40 years, have dedicated their lives and careers to fighting for their neighbors, and have taught their children to do the same. Nancy and Alan have three adult children all working to serve their communities: Amos, a teacher of special needs children; Adam, a Spanish teacher of native speakers; and Lydia, the founder and CEO of a local faith-based non-profit. They currently reside in Arlington Texas.
